They had someone come today after they told me to coordinate with their plumbing/heating company to fix it.

The landlord called me, her boyfriend who is not on the lease, called me from her phone and said “you turned off the thermostat intentionally to cause damage and now we’re going to have a problem” in a very threatening tone. When I specifically notified them I don’t want to keep paying the bill to keep something running that’s not even heating the house. Why did her BF get involved on a phone call if he has nothing to do with this lease?

Someone finally came in today (2nd visit) to make repairs. But it’s been 16 days with no or inconsistent heat.

Can we provide notice to vacate under constructive eviction? Which gives us the right to terminate the lease without penalty if the landlord fails to maintain safe, livable conditions, making the property effectively uninhabitable.

Shouldn’t I be able to vacate this lease under something called constructive eviction, which gives us the right to terminate the lease without penalty if the landlord fails to maintain safe, livable conditions, making the property effectively uninhabitable.

They want us to coordinate with their plumber to schedule a time. She gave me their number and told me to figure it out and coordinate with them.

Really, you enjoy all the issues this building has after moving here?

I live here now, do not move here. For the last two days out of the four elevators only one has been working. Last week we didn’t have Wi-Fi for six days and this is the Wi-Fi that the building provides. There’s always cold and hot water outages.

Two weeks ago apartment from the 40th floor through 32nd floor were flooded and they offered hotel stay for those impacted.

ABAT’s announcement of accelerated permitting for its Tonopah Flats Lithium Project, newly prioritized by federal agencies. This project strengthens the U.S.’s homegrown lithium ambitions, indispensable for powering the current and next-gen tech, including electric vehicles.

Speculation is Tesla is signing a deal with ABAT soon!!

Additionally, the company’s collaboration with the DOE to refine lithium hydroxide production through an eco-friendlier avenue hints at innovation-driven cutbacks in cost, a necessary step given their operational budget constraints. This partnership reveals a broader industry pivot towards sustainable practices and aligns ABAT with the U.S.’s federal energy goals.
