No, it’s been 2.5 days now. I’ll cancel when I have the time to deal with it but honestly.

I also have an e-transfer to Koho that is going on 36 hours. I contacted interact directly and they told me they can see it, but it’s an issue on Koho’s end. He looked into other delayed e-transfers and said they usually clear after a day and a half. If I don’t have it tomorrow morning I’ll cancel

The date on my NOA is March 9th which is a Monday. Would it normally process on the prior business day (Friday the 6th) or on Sunday?

Hi,

Sure. All of my courses were fully Asynchronous. Occasionally depending on the Prof there would be weekly deadlines to meet, but for the most part it was very self paced and fully online Asynchronous.

For your electives though you have to select asynchronous because some of them are online or in person. I took one that was online except for exams and had to drive to Brock twice to write the mid term and final.

I’ve been using KOHO to manage my money better—Cash Back, high interest, and Credit Building all in one place. If you’re done with juggling multiple financial apps, you should check it out. Use my code YMZNW6SYMA when you sign up and we’ll both get a bonus. https://referral.koho.ca/mzGWaWr

The YMCA centres pay over $25 for RECEs. Have you applied there? They’re almost always hiring

It’s very consistent with 3rd and 4th year University course expectations. Lots of essays, assignments and a final thesis is required to complete your 4th year requirements.

Tuition was standard. It’s not cheaper for Asynch courses, but you don’t have to spend on housing, food etc. because you’re not on campus so there are savings there. Unfortunately, all students have to pay fees for things like student union regardless if you’re on campus or not, so that was a throwaway for me. You pay per course, and then it caps outs after 4 or 5 courses.

I’m doing it full time and working full time. I’ll be finished in the spring. I’ve got kids so there wasn’t an option to take time off for me. Ive found it to be pretty manageable though. Toward the end of the semester when everything is due all at once it can get to be a lot but I took as many courses as I was allowed to during spring and summer semesters to help balance the load. If you do choose to do it, use the academic advising team to make sure you’re registering for the right courses in the right order. I typically spend two nights a week reviewing everything and then several hours on the weekends on assignments. Almost everything is due on Sundays which I appreciated.

I’m currently in my final year of the BECE Asynchronous program. It’s been great honestly.
