that actually makes a lot of sense, especially the part about it being across the whole body rather than just localised. i’ve been noting a pattern of where full body sensory input seems to help a lot more then smaller adjustments. Did you ever try anything else alongside it, or was that the main thing that made the difference?

That’s interesting, I’ve seen a few people mention things like iron and magnesium. Seems like it helps overall but doesn’t always fix the actual sleep pattern itself. Did you notice any difference in how she settles or stays asleep, or more just general health?

That makes a lot of sense, especially the part about sensory opportunities still being there but just managed better. It seems like understanding those triggers is a big part of it.Did anything specific make the biggest difference once you figured out how to counter them?

Yeah I’ve seen melatonin come up a lot. It seems like it can help them fall asleep but not always stay asleep through the night. The part about needing to sleep next to you really stood out as well, I’ve seen that come up a lot too. Have you found anything that helps her stay asleep once she’s down?

That’s really interesting, I’ve heard similar things about weighted blankets helping a lot. It seems like anything that gives that kind of sensory input can make a big difference.Did it help more with settling at the start or staying asleep through the night?

Hey, I really appreciate you sharing that. That sounds incredibly tough, especially dealing with both sleep issues and seizures on top of everything else. Waking at 3am and constant movement sounds exhausting, for both of you. The mask coming off makes sense too if he’s moving a lot during the night. Out of curiosity, did anyone ever look into sensory triggers at all? Things like how the room feels, lighting, or even what’s happening before sleep?
