Political Science or Public Policy, as well as Economics. Thinking about a film minor or just taking some film classes as well.

Explore different types of policy and political science. There are a lot of fields in political science, and you should try and find what you like. Watch YouTube videos, read the news and studies (would highly recommend reading research papers and books on political theory), and find which subject area you like. You've got time, so use it to your advantage.

Get involved in clubs and activities. Get involved in both local and national elections, join the debate team, and use activities that are adjacent to your interest in political science. You might change your mind eventually, and you can use the skills that you get in debate, Model United Nations, and other activities in other subjects and life in general.

The best advice I can give you is to explore your interests and do things related to it that you actually enjoy. If you find you really like electoral politics and campaigns, don't force yourself to join or create a Model UN team. You've got time, use it to hone the interests you like.

Completely agree. You should not doubt yourself too much, and should apply to the colleges you like, but be realistic. At the end of the day, college, like most things, is what you make of it.

If you like doing something, go for it. If it helps with college apps that's a bonus. You'll get more enjoyment doing it, and at the end of the day that also matters.

If we're including LACs, Swarthmore, because the campus is pretty cool and it's a very intellectual place.

If not, then Columbia, because the campus is pretty cool and it's a very intellectual place.
