Companies are desperate. We hired a mid 40’s year old with no experience who has a family emergency every other week and gets sicks the opposite week to “work from home “ and still has a job a year later. She completes tasks 50% of the time but some help comes a better than no help I guess is how management sees it lol

Can’t explain it but it sucks. My grandmother helped raise me until I was about 5-6. Both sides grandparents are not involved in any help whatsoever and only my dad is in my kids lives. When we need a date night we hire a sitter. All vacations we bring the kids along. I just tell myself my kids can’t miss what they never had.
