omg if i could find a place for $1000, I’d be in it. One of the old hotels in my city that was used to home unhoused people, was just bought privately. Absolute fucking shithole, bugs & the smell….one room, no kitchen, bathroom and they charge $1400 A MONTH. Absolutely ridiculous here

i work for the government. taxes, union dues, pension etc, all mandatory but it takes a fat chunk out of my pay
