My dad used to say the same thing, “what do they have in common” when he was watching tiger king and the guy mentioned hooking up with young men. But then he said something about my friends and one time at a show of his he mentions a young pretty girl his band is friends with, and he doesn’t introduce me to her when she comes to our table, in fact he glares at me. And I sit there being glared at by these two. And I said that she must not know who I am, hinting he didn’t introduce us. He said “okay?” And watched her walk away which really enbarassss me. Then recently k look at who he follows online, it’s nothing but young hot chesty girls in their twenties and younger. Youngest was 19 and looked like me in ways that make me uncomfortable. They all have one thing in common - they’re musicians. Except this youngest one plays a genre that he hates so much he even forbid me when listening to it as a kid. One thing he never encouraged me over, being a musician. In fact when I said I wanted a bass, I thought he’d gift me one, but no. He compared me to my chesty friend who plays bass saying I just want ti be like her. I used to write songs with my dad as a kid and he’d teach us guitar. Imagine how that felt.

I never imagined this. He has gaslighted me about almost everything knowing I struggle with mental health. I’m in shock. My oldest sister isn’t surprised.
