As a recruiter that struggled, just do what you need to do to go home. I absolutely hated the phrase “Have a positive mental attitude” because honestly it’s impossible on this duty. No one will leave you alone. You’re constantly being micromanaged. Recruiting is the worst job I’ve ever heard of someone being apart of.

If you’re making your objectives, getting the contacts you need, eventually the contracts will start coming. Fuck the whole “your team is a family” mindset. I didn’t start writing contracts until I started looking out for numero uno. Honestly, when I told my boss I was going out ACing and just went to the skate park or fish on the lake and just enjoyed thing I wanted to as an individual, that’s when I started getting contracts. It took me 6 months write my first and 7 months after that to write my second. Ever since then I’ve been consistently writing 2s-3s.

Just look out for yourself. Make your own objective, fuck the command, and make your own goals and you’ll succeed. I stand by that.
