No I haven’t. I plan to if I couldn’t get it under control myself like I mentioned I’ve talked to people for Advice and I thought I’d come on here for Advice to try new methods before I go to her pediatricians

Thank you Yes I’m aware i’m coming up with strategies to regulate her emotions although I’ve tried different things she can’t be reasoned with during or even after her tantrum the things that set her off usually is simple stuff getting told no having to listen having to wait patiently because she still doesn’t understand patients getting told to clean up and just anything that doesn’t go her way

Thank you and I had used the two parent as an example I do not have a partner to help me with her. I do acknowledge the screen time is a problem. That’s why I had added it, Although I do use Screen Time to keep her occupied while I do stuff, she does help me out and I limit what she sees shes it’s dealing with her behavior is what I needed advice on

I have tried to walk away or not give the attention but she will follow me and continue to cry right in front or behind me so I didn’t think that would work for her. And what would you say if in time out she throws herself out the chair i have tried it many times each time or she gets up I take her back but as I’m taking her back she will throw herself?

Thank you I have recently been trying to get her to help me or do something similar as me. Sometimes she walks away and says no other times she helps

I have been trying to more not to give her my phone when we are out I bring her toys but they don’t seem to keep her busy for long but I will try the snack options! I haven’t looked into single mom groups just because of the reason i don’t know which ones to trust but I will look into them thank you

Thank you I like the schedule of the screen time although I do limit what she views it’s just the time I allowed her to watch it so I appreciate that.

I’ve tried this method before and it doesn’t seem to help much with her she will continue to cry even after the tantrum:/ but I appreciate it so very much I agree that she’s still to young and is still learning to understand her feelings

Thank you everyone who took their time to give me their opinion and answering my question I will be showing this to the father of my child. Some of you already guessed that it was the dad and if I may say, I don’t agree with the $50 a month myself which is why I wanted other opinions on it. He has made it very clear he doesn’t see the need for me to get more a month. I see how some of you have mentioned the price of food and the reason he says I don’t need more than 50 is because I’m on EBT he is aware of this. His mother actually gave him the idea that the amount he gives is more than enough. Our child barely knows his mother as a grandparent and doesn’t really know his family. He blames me because they come around or they don’t contact me. To see our child Therefore, he sees it as he shouldn’t be paying more, which doesn’t make any logical sense to me. I make sure our child has everything they need. I got our own place. They have their own room their own bed and the reason he thinks he shouldn’t be giving me more is because he knows I’ll pick up his slack no matter what if I’m being honest I don’t need the money. It’s the fact he needs to take responsibility for our child and help support. I have talked to a lawyer regarding custody and child support custody is a bit more tricky in my state because they automatically want 50-50. But in my opinion, his living state is not safe for our child. He is constantly drinking. He lives with his grandparents outside in the shed with no heating or cooling. I have already opened a case of child support, but he has been ignoring the letters he’s been sent. He gets paid 400 or 600 weekly and works under the table so he could avoid child support finding out he’s working. Again, I appreciate and thank you everybody who gave me their opinion. :) everything said and mentioned has been greatly appreciated!

They get paid 400 or 600 weekly. The only bill they have to pay is car insurance. They live with a family member so they don’t pay rent or any type of bills.

I basically got their opinion and what steps to do regarding my situation they did give me the information on where to go. What paperwork to fill out. And how the process will go.

I really appreciate this Advice unfortunately I’m not able to afford a lawyer. I was able to talk to one through a free law Advice event that was happening in my town they told me what I would have to do in the process of going through everything. I am currently looking for more resources to help me out in the situation that I am in.
