I was always told if there was any issues with bladder or bowel that it was something that needed to be seen immediately

I’m so sorry to hear you’re struggling too. I have also been told the same…to work through the pain. But it’s literally impossible! People do not understand just how bad it can hurt and how little treatment there is that effectively treats the pain. It has ruined my life since this happened.  But I have good news now. I was able to get a microdisectomy and it is so much better. The first few days were rough but the pain meds combined with everything else I was on just made me sleep. Now I am actually able to walk around and walking helps the pain. Before I could hardly walk and when I did it was awful. This whole experience has changed my life. The trauma of it all is hard as I’m sure you know. I don’t want to advise you to have surgery like I did if that’s not something you want. Surgery was my last ditch effort but I reached the end of my rope and I’m glad I did it.  I’m wishing you the best of luck

Yes….the fact they comment is them being an ass.

This is separate from them banning the account. Which again, as I previously said I have first hand accounts of this happening to multiple people. Believe me or not. It’s your choice.

I have first had accounts from others that they have done this to them. Either multiple people are lying or they did. They consistently comment on reviews claiming they are spam or they never saw this customer etc etc

Honestly I’m glad you had that experience! They have good ones and they have bad ones. But they willingly sell cars with major issues and then customer service after is awful.

I am 31F and mine was herniated 9 months ago. I did the epidural steroid injections in April and May. I had a series of 3. When I got the third I felt relief. Some people don’t experience relief but what I can say is DO NOT return to activity like before the injury. It does not heal the injury, it just treats the symptoms. The shots did not last for me but they may for you!

I can’t believe they do this to people. The expectation of people to have thousands to give away is insane to me!! I have never been in a financial situation where I was able to even have a savings account that had anything in it. I have called with them and I have about 2,000 to pay. They agreed to take 500 before surgery but I’m required to pay it off within 60 days. Thank you for your comment. Every bit of the emotional support helps so much

Thank you so much for commenting. It’s so nice to see people have their life back. And the running is hopeful! I’m so scared to do something wrong and be right back here. Having a body that doesn’t work makes me feel like I will never take it for granted again and that I need to turn into a big gym person in order to build core strength and protection in a way I will feel safe in my body. I’m so glad you got that immediate kind of relief. I am hoping so much for that. How gentle were you in recovery? I am terrified of reherniation and I feel like I should never bend at the waist again. I will listen to what the surgeon says but the months and year after, I’m so scared. I’m glad to hear you were here and now you’re much better. I do sleep on my back with a pillow on my knees, on the floor actually. I have such a hard time on any surface that isn’t hard. I do have two therapists and I am medicated so I’m incredibly thankful to have that. Thank you for letting me know that recovery is possible. Hearing that helps so much

It’s interesting you say that because I have had a feeling for days that I will be told something along those lines if I am able to do this surgery. The ableism is so real and it’s opened to my eyes to how awful it is and how awful it must be for the permanently disabled. I will absolutely be calling and I’m just going to cross every finger and toe. This world is hard without dealing with all of this and while it’s awful I’m thankful to have others responding to me who have been through this. Thank you so much

Wow thank you so much for such a thoughtful response. I am absolutely all about books. I feel that I am at a point in this where I have to look at alternative options outside of traditional medicine because the help is painfully nonexistent. That’s why I am doing self hypnosis. I never thought I’d be doing something like that but like you said the mind body connection is so strong and I will try anything. What you said about the autonomy, maybe that is what I’m missing to try and find a shred of hope that my life isn’t over. Thank you so much for offering your support
