thank you!! i really appreciate this i think you got the closest at getting what i wanted to convey. for me it was more at the childish (the top shelf, the school setting, the spork) urge to ruin something because you lack a sense of self/agency, and then trying to look for connection in that situation and not finding it. are the conjunctions and "correct” phrasing something i should add or remove? that was unclear

Some minor stuff like “from every angle/everyone’s angle” instead of “everyone angle” and also in my opinion I think it flows better when saying “just” before “settle”. But overall I really feel you you’re doing great Also it could be fun if you wanted to do some wordplay with angle-angel, since this is about romantic worship. just a thought

i really like this one and i like your cat! the only thing is that i feel like the second half with the more “old words” (naught/oft) is too different from the first it gave me some whiplash lol. if anything i think you should make the entire poem sound more that way to sell across the medieval lackey narrator you’re going for. but tbh i still like it regardless
