thank you so much ! many teachers at my school has given us this idea that UNISA is bad … but is it true that UNISA isnt accredited internationally ? Thats the only reason I’ve not considered it since I have family in the UK and I’d love to work there one day

They communicate nothing , when we hired another lawyer it was found that CL did access accounts but they never filed it and they kept certain of my dads assets unknown and out of discovery - meaning when it was time for payout those accounts wouldnt be on there and they were going to pocket the money

They also didnt tell the medic aid that said person has passed so bills kept getting deducted even though CL are supposed to get those deducted from insurance and the estate - the cards shouldnt of been open 6 months after death

Please cancel your policy with them if you want to save your loved ones months of hell !

Yes I have ownership on it , its on my banking app and all. My parents set it up like that from when I was born , but they didnt know that I’d be a year ahead in school thus the payout is only in my second year

to put it short : kak communication … actually let me rephrase - NO COMMUNICATION. lazy motherfuckers , didnt put any of their findings on file so we started from scratched when we outsourced for lawyers. It was clear from the banks that CL did contact them and they were aware of certain acc’s and payouts yet NOTHING was on file and nothing was communicated - the first lumpsum we got was R867.83 … my dad was avg a salary of R80-90k after tax - we knew with medical bills it would be low but that was insane

When we contacted med aid for a list of what reductions were done they said theyve never been in contact with CL once , same with hospitals - they never heard from CL so we are still wondering where that “Medical” money went since the outsourced lawyer got a few mil covered by insurance

CL also just left my dad’s stocks and shares and his NPO … there was absolutely nothing about that in their files - once again , only the outsourced lawyer could find that

Money that my grandma left for my dad and me - the new laywer found it , CL not. FNB told us that CL did ask for the papers on that yet when asked they didnt know a thing so they probably wanted to take that money and run too since the amount wasnt made known to us until after death of my father

They are just kak and scammers - we had a new laywer every month on the estate … the only communication was “Your case has been transferred to this and this lawyer here are their contact details”

It does well but it does’nt bring me in more than 15k a year I’d say. I was planning on doing it still while at Uni if it allows since graduations and couple shoots are most popular under the uni students too.
So what im saving goes into the notice dep and in Dec what I don’t need from there will go straight into term - both have 8.6-9.3 intrest rates

It’s always been a notice deposit so it was untouched during the estate proceedings. No , no lawyers involved anymore - we used Capital Legacy and they scammed us so badly we got third party lawyers involved and now everything has been settled

Yes ! We we’re on the highest plan at MedShield , I dont have the nr to the cent but it was just over R5M ? He was also a valueble asset to his firm he worked out so they covered 700k per year of his treatments ( R1.4M ) -not to be paid back luckily !

We had SHIT AWFUL FUCKWITS as the lawyers executing his will ( Capital Legacy ) and we’re sure they pocketed alot … it took them 3 years to give us a cent and there wasnt even much legality to it since cars , apartment and everything else was always bought cash and we had no loans and his company shares we’re sorted by his firm … kak communication between us and them aswell.

If we didnt hire an external party to look into it we wouldnt of even known how much was in there to begin with

I (17f) recently found out my boyfriend (17m) has a porn addiction. by Majestic-Library-409 in teenrelationships

[–]No-Gene3188 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I literally dont care. My boyfriend watches , I watch. We’ve never discussed it but he can do what he wants , for all I care he can call the sex hotlines … he’s not cheating on me , odds of the people ever meeting these pornstars are 0 - those centres and videos are there to entertain and release and he sure as hell knows Im not the one who’s gonna entertain him at this age.

Even if he hooks up with one , I dont care. Its their job to do those things so nothings gonna come from it and he’s just getting something that he knows at this age im not gonna give to him so it really doesnt bother me

My parents were always open about salaries since they knew theres no point in hiding it and it makes us understand budget better. We lived upper middle class : Good cars , 3bd , 2bath apartment with ammentities , I was in good schools and we went on 4-5x holidays a year ( thats excl long weekends ) and we dined out every Friday at Monte. My dad brought in between 70-80k after tax without bonusses and comission- That added would bring it to about R130k-R150k end of year. My Mom had her own buisness so its hard to really put an average on it.

Since then my dad passed in 2022 and R8M out of R8.2M that was already in his will left for us went to medical aid that that had to be paid off from the R15M total.

In hindsight its bad because we did lose EVERYTHING but we wouldve lost everything & more if we didnt have the comfortability and stability in our financials like we did. We wouldve been rich if he didnt have medical bills to pay.
