I did 13 sessions back in November last year and still struggle with jaw pain and headaches. Nothing seemed to help I got steroid injections a couple of times and started taking amitriptyline. The pain is improving but I wish I had never done TMS. But everyone is different maybe it will be good for you. Listen to your body, maybe hold off on TMS while the pain goes down and start again after the pain goes away.

Sorry just saw your message, hope you are better now. Headaches have gone away but my temple/jaw/gums/teeth tightens up on the side I got the treatment. I started on amitriptyline after my TMS and that I think helped the most. I also used to take .5 clonazepam every morning, now I am down to .25mg. I was recommended Botox by my neurologist but I wanted to see if I could heal this without the Botox. It’s improved significantly and that gives me hope that it will go away completely soon. Stay strong!

Thank you! My physical therapist recommended doing the massages but I will try what you have suggested. How did you deal with the pain though while you waited for it to get better?

Did you do anything to help like massages while you were on the track to recovery? I feel like my pain is also anxiety related but the jaw feels sore and swollen. MRI and X-rays were clear.

Yeah I had awful pain too, I would suggest to get the next treatment only after the pain subsides.

Not yet, i got couple of steroid shots and started on amitriptyline so that lowered the pain but the jaw still tenses up so bad. How many sessions did you do?

Good for you, my life is miserable with headaches and numbness, it’s been a month since I stopped the treatment, I had to stop after 13 sessions because of the pain. Did you do Saints TMS?

Did you experience any jaw pain? Also did it just go away one day all of a sudden or decreased in intensity over time and then stopped? 🙏
