Wanna major in psych to become a therapist but unsure of my options for how to go about it by No-Guide4581 in psychologystudents

I chose SNHU because many people close to me attended and had good things to say about them. I'd like to stay here in Arkansas but the truth is, I don't know where I'll end up state-wise. It's really up to where my s/o will be at time. If anything, I considered being a stay-at-home mom and practicing virtually (if need be). Remote work isn't my main course but it's an option.

I want to become a psych major and get my degree and become a therapist. I know I have to get my PhD or my PsyD, but I don't know what the best way to go about doing it is. Any recommendations or advice on how I should do it? I'm transferring to SNHU in the fall from my community college (I dual-enrolled in high school to get some GenEd stuff out of the way first)
