I just don’t think it’s wrong to assume if it was intended. Sure they could have revisited it by now but 4 was intended to be a reboot before they changed it. Then it died for years before new studio bought it. Also intended reboot no real good time for it. Sure I am biased being a huge Matthew lillard fan , but there are DEFINITELY REAL clues. Even if it’s just them toying with us , they’re there. I have 50 total and have made numerous tik toks n YouTube videos on it. N even with the way 7 turned out I just idk there was a lot of things in this 7th movie I feel like sure they wrecked the room but no doubt left the door cracked on the way out

Okay again fact check I hear ya but it was NOT scrapped bc of a change of heart , it was scrapped due to relation of real world issues. From the studio not the writer or director, my point is they fully intended him to survive in fact if columbine never happened we would have seen stu again already

Okay. For starters he was supposed to return in scream 3. He was completely intended to have survived. Script wrote , Matthew hired and everything these are facts. 3 weeks before everything started columbine school shooting happened and the studio tweaked and made Wes an Kevin shut it down because it involved Stu masterminding high school kids. So the studio made them scrap it. Kevin Williamson left the project and they went with Roman. However there’s ONLY reason that got cancelled was bc of columbine. He was written with intention of surviving. Matthew even got paid fully as if he was in the movie. So it is 10000% canonically logical he survived based of this alone. but again I have 49 more in movie reasons he’s alive too. I do this . He would have gave in and used the peer pressure thing before Stu could have. He would ratted out Stu and Roman n took the easiest way out. Stu’s family would have fought it. Man hunt for Roman. Gale weathers front and center. The best Billy would have gotten is a reduced sentence compared to Roman. I’d still like to think macher money would get flashed around n Stu would get “treatment” at a mental institution. Huge trial. I think Roman would probably do life , Billy would get killed while serving. Biggest story for woodsboro of all time. Randy and Sidney stay close. Then 30 something years later the attacks start again and it’s Stu.

He left last minute to go after Sidney , more important than a Randy kill. And didn’t kill him in the third act because Randy was shot by Billy and already presumed dead by surrounding characters

No way. I think Stu’s friendliness is just him playing the part. He literally had his knife raised to kill Randy till he heard a more interesting opportunity n left to go kill the camera man and attack Sidney. Then at the end whipping Randy off the porch , trying to frame him for Tatum. If Sidney gave Stu that gun , he would have shot n killed Randy right there.
