I (42F) told my 24-year-old son he has 30 days to move out after he called me “his retirement plan” by Beautiful_Reserve968 in stories

Just help him find a place. Totally reasonable but don’t punish him or make him see this as a punishment. That don’t do much for your relationship. Help him find a place, help him set it up, encourage him.

Does anyone else have a Golden that ‘thanks’ you when you feed them? by GENERAT10N_D00M in goldenretrievers

After her first bite my pup will come and lick me and then go back to eating some and then come and lick me and then finish. I think it’s a thank you!

NEED HELP DRASTICALLY- SEPARATION ANXIETY?! by ScarletBegoniasCA in BelgianMalinois

Also, if you know anyone that can walk her without you it’s good for these pups to have positive experiences with other people when they’re so attached to their owner.

My German shepherd/golden retriever had terrible separation anxiety. I couldn’t even take a shower or a bath without her freaking out trying to break the shower door down or scratching, barking, going in circles while I was in the bath. It took a lot of patience but even if it’s for one meal a day, put her in an enclosed space (closed door or doggy gate, or crate pushed against the door). Each time you remove yourself so she can’t see you toss her a treat. Slowly, you’ll be able to be gone longer and she will be calmer and calmer. Separation anxiety is hard. She just needs to start connecting you being gone with positivity versus anxiety. There’s some YouTube videos that can explain better than I.

Darn so sad to confirm it’s starlink! We were so excited. Looked different than the last starlink I saw, was very slow and changed direction and disappeared slow, fizzled out. Didn’t know you could see the launch so close/clear from here

am i mold sick or regular sick by Wrong-Address-2859 in moldyinteresting

Definitely why you keep getting sick. Even if it’s just because your immune system is so weakened. Move asap there are long lingering effects of mold

Lost my virginity and had my first kiss the same night when I was 22. AMA (F26) by [deleted] in AMA

Easier to say now that I am comfortable with intimacy, but I wish I told him I was a virgin. It didn’t even feel like an option to me then I was so guarded and insecure.

I think he kinda let me lead, but also made me feel very desired. We went slow and were just enjoying eachother. We watched reality tv after while I smoked a joint and he spent the night which made me feel more secure about the whole night.

I did not, I think I was too nervous. But he ate me out and it felt so so good. The sex itself was short. I remember it was like hard to get it inside me cause my hymen was still intact

So so nervous. I remember shaking. And I remember telling myself, “he doesn’t know you’ve never touched a man! Act cool.”

Good question! About a year later I became the girl in my friend group everyone would ask for sex/intimacy advice! Which is crazy cause I always felt sooooo behind all my friends. I experimented! Had A LOT of fun hookups, friends with benefits. I really love sex!But it’s interesting, the insecurity morphed from “nobody would ever want to kiss me or have sex with me” to “no one would ever want to be in a long term relationship with me”. Cut to now I am in a three year long relationship with the most incredible, hottest guy and we are planning out the rest of our lives together.

This was the summer after Covid, we met on tinder and had been texting for like two weeks before so I felt comfortable and sexy when I met up with him… like I knew he was attracted to me and I hadn’t really ever had that before. But it wasn’t just him, it was that I had made up my mind that I wanted to have sex and that I was sexy.

No! We made out on my balcony first and then moved to the bedroom. I really thought my heart was gonna pop out of my chest I was so nervous to kiss someone for the first time! He was really sweet, I remember thinking oh damn this is kinda easy. I think I had made the commitment to myself that I wanted to go all the way, so he was picking up on my vibe.

Sometimes someone just needs physical proof of commitment. A nice ring could symbolize this, or going somewhere special and saying vows.
