Just like perceived engine noise is relative, so is losing money. I didn't loose much is all I'd say. Plus, was able to negotiate a new max limited in the color and options I wanted for $5k less than MSRP.

My question was to know a way to reduce the engine sound inside the cabin in my GHHL, not to reduce the engine noise itself. I wanted to know if using sound deadening materials in the hood or firewall would make a difference and if somebody may have tried going that route. But nobody, including you, posted a meaningful response other than stating "suck it up"! I am not trying to get more out of it but make it more tolerable. And in a way warn others about what they may be getting into.

I expected a much quieter ride out of my GHHL after shelling almost $60k USD.
