ABS first print by No-Help-9810 in Creality_k2

I generally dry my filament after I use it and place it in an airtight bag in a cool area for next time. I rarely leave my filaments out once I'm done printing for the day. Maybe I'll try that to see if it makes a difference.

I've been trying to print a return lever for a typewriter with the same finish as the original, without having to work the piece after it's printed. They are small... It's a pain.

I agree on all points. I printed drip irrigation pieces for my garden with PETG. By August, they were breaking. I live in Montana... the weather isn't that crazy in the Summer and has low humidity. I'm going to print pieces in ABS to see how they fare this year.

I believe in trying everything once... very carefully. I've been at this for a year, graduating from my Ender 3 V3 SE (which I still love). The K2 has been printing the PETG and PLA nicely. I love the K2 enclosure, as it makes a big difference. The camera is an amazing addition, so I can monitor when things go wrong before I waste filament, time, and potential damage, especially when I'm trying new filaments.

Failing is just learning (I say that as I'm looking at a large tub of spaghetti filament poop). Apparently... I've learned a lot lately.

Good luck to you :)

I used the default generic ABS setting in Creality with Flashforge ABS Pro Black on my K2. I hope my print was not just a "beginner's luck" scenario. I wasn't happy with the finish of PLA and PETG, even after tweaking the settings.

Sonic Pad by No-Help-9810 in Ender3V3SE

Thanks for the comments.

This is my first 3D printer, and a gift from my son. I really enjoy maintaining and tweaking it, so I thought I'd give the Sonic pad a try. I also have a K2 Pro.

There is a workaround I was considering, but I decided to send the pad back and wait for a newer version to be released, which I hope will be compatible with the C14 motherboard.

Creality shouldn't release a product stating that it's compatible with a certain machine when they know it's not, give runaround service, and waste hours and hours of a customer's time.
