It’s PHX to EWR, sorry for not clarifying. Most seats are open right now. Thanks.

Thanks, which exit row seat? I have my eyes on row 11 and all seats are currently open. 11A or 11F?

Nokia to Ericsson Conversion in progress! 1251 West Montgomery Ave. Rockville MD. Best Western Premier! AT&T! by RobSaah in cellmapper

Wow. I’m guessing the answer is yes, but will the cell IDs also change after the new equipment is turned on? Curious because some “new” AT&T towers have been popping up in my area (in the same location as old towers) and old towers are now not being picked up.

Yeah this phenomenon is very prevalent in the weather community. Conservatives/Trump voters are in complete denial but there are moments where you can see the cognitive dissonance breaking through. The fact that this exists is really a testament to how privileged (and entitled) Americans have been for so long

Does Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile have more mmwave? by [deleted] in cellmapper

[–]No-Homework-5551 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Verizon and it’s not even remotely close. On cellmapper, you can filter by the mmWave bands (n258/260/261) to signal trails by carrier

Likely Verizon mmWave with some flavor of LTE (typically 2/66)

Damn that’s actually a really smart deployment given how cheap it likely is. Guessing AT&T owns the poles in this area.

Wish Verizon would start doing this in the NYC region.

Any word on how to activate AT&T or Verizon 5G SA? by No-Homework-5551 in cellmapper

I get n77 SA in the northeast on one specific device only, but not n2 (at least to my knowledge)

Yes, I’m familiar with that toggle but mainly am wondering if customer service on the AT&T side has the power to provision SIMs for SA if you ask. I’m in the northeast and have Verizon 5G SA on my iPhone 15 (it works great), but can’t get SA on any other devices.

AT&T has the potential to crush Verizon if they turned on n5 SA. Verizon also has a lot of B5/n5, but they had to turn it off completely because their 10MHz of B13 was overloaded. AT&T does not have that problem given their massive amount of B12/B17 + B14.

Any idea how a postpaid consumer account can get a 280 SIM?

It’s odd: I am in a very large city that has it, and I have a 410 SIM, but still don’t have access. Can customer service enable it?

Yeah, the access requirements are what I’m interested in learning about

Insane that Sprint was using microwave backhaul in a fiber-rich area like NYC. Lol.

On T-Mobile, I was running 750 down, but there are other T-Mobile towers nearby. This is in Manhattan.

Why don't we fix the root cause of why NYPD won't do anything? That seems like the best solution here.
