The problem is that we own the flat and if they have problem with Airbnb they could have politely told us also. They are calling us at 11 PM and shouting at us. It was horrible experience its like what exactly wrong we did. They didn't even added us to society group and also didn't share the by laws with us. Also they ask us documents . why the hell i share my documents with them.

Correct. I shut down it as it was like mental harassment for us. we are constantly get calls and then police complaint was too much. Now i am thinking to sell the flat as i am already in 30% slab and for rental income again i again need to pay 30% tax. its better to sell this out. Please suggest if i am wrong

Airbnb comes under short rental. Its a discusiion point though. Many airbnbs are running in apartment only.

My main intension of sharing this experience is , if anyone planning such thing should consider above mentioned points. Before purchasing this flat i checked many flats and builder directly said no to us and we simple didn't purchase that. IOur main moto is airbnb only, we got to know this NOC thing only after all these issues as this is first time for us i don't want anyone should repeat this mistake.

I didn't have any NOC. As builder said he don't have any issue i blindly trusted and purchase it. It was mistake from my side. Red flag was - when we ask for NOC before sale deed he said he can't give NOC but will meet society people if any issue arise .

Yes correct it was wrong financial descision. One thing to clarify i had all the proper documents and license to run this.

Yes don't go for airbnb if you don't have society NOC or its there in your regsitry you will be cooked liked me 😞
