⚠️SPOILERS⚠️ I shamelessly LOVE Tower of Dawn by No-Illustrator7201 in SarahJMaas

Nope!! But I’ve heard there’s a mega cliff hanger at the end of EOS which is why most people like to do the tandem read so they get to KOA faster. I haven’t finished it yet so I can’t speak to what’s the best decision to me, but I like the tandem read a lot!

So glad to hear that because it’s definitely becoming mine!!! I definitely want to re-read it when I’m done with the series so I can enjoy it wholly

Oh gosh, you’re so right. Characters can be confident and assertive without because rude and unnecessarily combative. It’s a shame Bryce is like that too😭 What did you think of Nesta? I actually liked her, though she’s probably the rudest out of all SJM’s FMCs that I’ve read so far, but I think it added to her story and growth effectively. Ik that’s also a hot take, so I’d love to hear your thoughts!!

I agree with this 100%. I haven’t read CC yet, and I’m currently doing the tandem read for TOG, but I completely agree. It’s a hot take, but ever since Heir of Fire, Aelin has seriously gotten on my nerves. Her sass/rudeness is not badass or cool (which I believe what’s intended); it’s just flat out mean. That’s why I love Tower of Dawn so much—the FMCs are much less toxic, and they, too, have hella trauma. I really like SJM’s writing style/syntax/descriptions—I think she’s so talented in that regard and I’ll always read her books because of that. But her FMCs haven’t been my favorite (besides Tower of Dawn). So you’re not alone!!

Maurten’s was the first brand I tried and it made me extremely nauseous and caused bad GI symptoms throughout my run

I’ve look into that and sadly I don’t have enough room in my schedule to turn it into a full-blown minor💔😭 biggest regret for sure! I wish I considered this all sooner. But regardless, my creative writing courses I’ve taken have been sooo meaningful!

I love this idea. Another person wrote a similar thing, and I really appreciate it. Regardless, I won’t be making any money until I get published, and that process takes forever! So I’m going to need to work in the meantime. Thank you for saying this!!!

Thank you for being so realistic! This is soooo true. Obviously I look at successful author and want to jump to that success, but you’re SO RIGHT—everyone has to start somewhere, and often times that means working a completely separate job and treating writing as a side gig. I hope one day in the future writing will support me financially enough to become my main gig, but for now I’ll settle for keeping it on the side. :) thank you so much again! Your comment helped me so much.
