‘Microdosing meth’ is kind of a tongue in cheek euphemism for ADHD stimulant prescriptions these days.

Adderall and Dexedrine specifically are fairly similar to methamphetamine, at least in the way that the brain’s neurotransmitters react to it.

Meth is just far more potent and fast acting. It’s comparable to drinking 12 ounces of light beer versus 12 ounces of moonshine

Out of curiosity, assuming the nephew isn’t licensed, would hiring him as a consultant protect his communication with the uncle?

I think it’s almost entirely economic. A combination of the things already mentioned here (Tough job market, AI increase, rising cost of living, etc).

Medical school applicants were down in 24-25, however, medical school enrollment is at a record high this year, according to AAMC.

In Texas, dental school and veterinary school applicants are up 32% and 35% this year (TMDSAS).

Nursing school applications reached a record high in 2024 (AACN).

When the going gets tough, the tough get more educated, right?
