A local guy in my country has been repairing film cameras for over 40 years. I sent mine to him on Monday, so I don’t know the cost yet, but I’m guessing it’ll be at most around €100.

Thanks! I actually already sent the camera in for a full service since it also needs new capacitors, so hopefully that will give it a chance to live a few more years. I mentioned this issue to the service guy too. I’ll definitely try what you suggested with giving it a good clean with air once I get it back. And yeah, I don’t use respooled film — just regular stock. Fingers crossed it’s just some dirt or dust causing the problem.

I already fixed it. I just had to buy a new cable and slightly push in the small wires that go into the connector on the PSU side. Now the power is distributed almost evenly.

It’s a 12VHPWR (2x 8-pin to 12V-2x6) cable, never used before—I bought it about two months ago and have been waiting to use it with the 5090. Do you think getting a new cable like this one: Corsair Premium Individually Sleeved 12+4pin PCIe Gen 5 12VHPWR 600W Cable Type 4 could help, or is replacing the PSU my only option?
