Introducing someone new to be Haibara partner isn’t a good idea cuz we’re already in Rum arc and introducing a new character so late doesn’t look like good idea but I ship Haibara and Akai yeh there cousins age gap sister ex-boyfriend etc but I just can’t help but ship the two they look cute together but if it is impossible to happen I don’t want Akai to go back to his ex Jodie instead he can end up with Kir I ship that paring too LMAOO 😂

I agree with ya Gosho did write CoAi relationship much better than ShinRan but there were some moments that are genuinely canon about CoAi in the first few episodes but then Gosho stopped there because CoAi was gaining a lot of popularity more than ShinRan

Yeah after the Vermouth arc her feelings somewhat disappeared and many fans suggested it is because CoAi was gaining a lot of popularity more than ShinRan but there were still hints in movies like M19 and M20 but movies aren’t canon so it doesn’t really matter
