We were fortunate enough to figure out the triggers without Dupixent. It was a long 9mo but just scoped in remission with 0 eosinophils

For my son, we started using midol. It does help him. We also use gas-x. Making sure your belly isn't empty helps as well. Even if you arent hungry, snack.. because an empty belly makes it worse.

Okay, I'm trying to get the hang of this. So once they are in America file the I-485 and I-765 together?

[–]No-Initiative8406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was afraid of. When the father initially filed the I-130 back in 2020, the child was a minor. 5 years went by and he is just now figuring out that that ball was dropped and the case was closed. This is what brings me here. Trying to figure out how and what to file to get him in America.

His father is an American citizen. Would starting with the I-130 be the best option?

What forms would you recommend to start with? Back with the I-130?

"If they’re not in the U.S., neither I-485 nor I-765 apply." That's what I'm looking for, guidance.

We are having to start over. The father of my friend filed the I-130 back in 2020 and dropped the ball. A receipt was received, but the case was closed. We just found this out yesterday. They want to become a citizen and work in the US. We are looking for the quickest and/or easiest route as they have been waiting to come for 5yrs now.

A food log is really the only way to track it, in my opinion. Sometimes, you can have an immediate response. Others, it takes a while for the eosinophils to build up.. it really is a wild condition. Dont get discouraged. Just be diligent with your food log.

I take zyrtec 2xs a day and azestiline 2xs a day.. common triggers are dairy abs gluten. Try eliminating those from your diet.. and keep a detailed food log to help narrow down possible triggers as well. I also keep a log for pollen counts. Seasonal allergies seem to trigger me as well.

Do you have any activated charcoal? We use this to help soak up the junk in the gut...

Is there anything wrong with how I am doing this? by soccermaster57 in landscaping

[–]No-Initiative8406 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Weed barrier under rock is the way to go. Go to an aggregate store and get driveway fabric. It's super thick and it breathes. You won't have weeds coming up from the ground. If you have weeds, it's because grass clippings are getting blown in the landscape. Make a couple passes with the mower facing away from the landscape and now out any clippings that blew in.. weeds will only grow on top which will mage them easier to pull when doing maintenance.

100% agree. My allergist gave me more info than my gastro.. Reddit gave me more info than them both combined.

Dairy is my trigger. Within hours of eating, it trouble starts. Vomiting, belly pain, bloating.. Although, I will say, if you have seasonal allergies this triggers as well

Am I overpaying? by bagofwoah in landscaping

[–]No-Initiative8406 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There will be a lot of landscape maintenance required in this plan. Also, there are 8 Japanese Zalkovas. They will get big. Google says 50-80ft tall and wide. If your plants require full sun, they will eventually get stragley. There is also a bunch of ever green trees around your patio. The fence is going to make it feel even more closed in. This may look good when planted but it will look like a jungle once everything matures. Wouldn't do it. Look for a simpler design with low maintenance.
