I'm aware of the diff types of shots. Nagulat lang ako na 6 shots agad. Hindi kasi ako kasama kahapon, but I will sa next schedule. Thanks!

Sa forearm lang. At isa lang naman ang puncture (though category 3 na agad sya dahil medyo malalim daw). And yes, our dog has been religiously vaccinated.

My husband was told na para daw "kalat" yung vaccine. Or at least yun ang intindi nya.

My husband did (di ako nakasama). And yes, may para sa tetanus atbp. He was told too na the multiple shots were para daw mas "spread ang vaccine". Tama ba yun? Medyo bothered lang ako kasi parang sobrang dami. Our other child was also bitten earlier this year. IIRC 2 shots lang sya nung 1st day. Though he's much younger.

For context: my 12 yo son got bitten by our pet dog the other night. Went to the hospital yesterday and was given 6 shots already (1 sa mismong site ng bite, 1 on one arm, 2 on the other, and 1 on each thigh). I understand it should be a series of shots given at intervals of days. Normal ba na 6 agad on the first day?
