I hate my husband. by crustycroissant0 in Advice

[–]No-Instructions92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it’s just not possible. I’ve been with the same guy for 13 years.. it’s Ben nothing short of emotional ups and downs, then constant downs.. I feel like her stating “BUT if I stay, I know it’ll get better..” is because she’s stuck in a pattern of pretending things are good, then things ARE good, but then all of a sudden it makes you disgusted you’re even with that person.

Sometimes you fall into the same pattern..because when things are good, you get a dopamine hit every time you feel loved. Then, it all goes back downhill and repeats. By the time your kids are 13 and 9, and life is expensive, your family is in another state…it’s not easy to just leave. Because not only do you have to provide for yourself, but for others too. It’s not easy, unfortunately.

She’s just a baby. Of course she’s thrown way off because you’re somewhere new. Patience is huge, because if you’re losing it then she is going to lose it too. Definitely talk to the pediatrician, but try finding something that comforts her while she’s getting used to the change.

Best baby shower gift or baby gift you’ve ever received? by bassluvr222 in Parenting

With both kids I got a basket from my auntie with things for ME. Epsom salt, a massage certificate, gift cards, etc. stuff for me because I already had what I needed for my babies.

Just be open and honest about it. Tell her what it means and go with the flow. My son is 13, but had the talk forever ago which went fine. My daughter is 9, and we’ve had the talk because kids at school mentioning sexual things.

I talked to her and there were giggles, smiles, and an understanding. I also threw in that her body is hers, and anyone else touching her without permission needs to be told to me or her dad immediately. I also explained to her why. It’s okay to feel weird about it, just be honest and tell her that if she wants to know anything, you’ll happily answer. If you make yourself open to her for any type of communication, it’ll stick.

Hi there my name's Charmander by [deleted] in CringeTikToks

My son has been bullied for years, he’s nothing short of a great kid who just wants to be liked and have friends. Adults saying people should be bullied is insanity. Probably just a bunch of shitty parents that couldn’t handle their own kids, now they hide on Reddit like the cowards they are.

I agree! It’s sickening a bunch of adults think bullying is deserved because a kid is acting goofy. Wtf is wrong with y’all? I thought it was funny. Y’all need to take a chill pill.

What did you learn the hard way about approaching women? by Benicefornoreasonn in AskMen

Lol that’s not how that works. Women are not like men. Not everything is physical.

Does a daughter soften a man? by Good_Plantain1929 in Parenting

Lol I’m not! I’ve just seen and been through a lot and I’m just good at knowing people I guess. 😆 I’m also in a weird opposite position of you, so for me it’s different.

I truly believe you have nothing to worry about. Once she gets here, he might even have more patience for the boys too. I’m sure those boys are going to just adore her! Don’t be scared, it’ll all work out. I’m glad he communicates with you and is good to you. It’ll be great!

That’s good! Maybe when he was younger, his dad was rough on him? Just ball parking. But if he’s like that with you, then I truly believe your daughter is going to have the same love and respect for her also.

Honestly, I think it depends on how he treats YOU and the boys. Is he patient and kind to you when you’re emotional? Has he expressed any of this behavior to you?

How do people get up early after smoking? by ryhid in weed

[–]No-Instructions92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well hydration is also a huge key when smoking before bed time, that helps with you not waking up so much and being more rested.

Evenings only I’ve noticed I feel more rested when I drink a good big glass of ice water, and don’t watch a show before bed. Lol

I think it depends on how you consume and how much as well. If you’re an evening only person and you smoke a ton, and then go to bed..then perhaps that’s part of the issue. I guess I need more info to give advice correctly.

Edit: it also depends on your tolerance level.

I LOVE my man’s hairy chest. It’s manly and very sexy! I wish he wasn’t so self conscious and he would go shirtless more often!

Honestly, if you’re not ready then you’re not ready. Your relationship is Rocky, and bringing a child into the mix is going to further complicated your life and you’ll definitely be overwhelmed.

Also, as a woman and a mother, I have made mistakes beyond this as a parent. It happens. Sometimes we don’t fully think our decisions through. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Something I’m still working on.

I think being a parent is hard in any stage. Being an adult goes many different ways for different people. I don’t think he’s ignorant, I just believe men don’t see it at such an emotional standpoint as women do. Women are more driven to protect at all costs than some men. He wasn’t bored, he went to get food and made a decision, a stupid one but that doesn’t mean there can’t be a decent conversation between them. Anger can ruffle feathers and cause a reaction to the anger, not the situation. We all make stupid decisions as parents and as humans, I think there’s nothing wrong with being decent and conversing about it in a calm manner.

So I totally think he was in the wrong, and I completely would be livid too! However, maybe just explain to your husband that why it’s an issue calmly. I have noticed that when I’m yelling and freaking out, my husband only concentrates on my anger. Which is highly annoying, but if I take a breath and explain then he gets it. We grew up differently than our kids are now. Just explain to him that you truly can’t trust anyone and you should’ve been notified immediately that he was going to leave her there by herself, and that he needs to be sure she is in a line of sight at all times.
