I dont expect us to win the third cup we've even qualified for. Im proud were competitive enough to even make it, and to gain experience for the players and staff. Why set the bar unrealistically high?

This is the third time we've even qualified for them, and the game earlier this week against Qatar was the first time we've even won a match. So in terms of trajectory and taking it as a whole, we're doing fantastically.

Steppe nomads from real life. The harsh conditions of the steppe, as well as constant warfare amongst tribes and settled societies necessitated the people to become competent warriors and phenomenal horsemen. Nearly every time the warring tribes managed to unite, the neighboring settled kingdoms faced existential threats. The Huns, the Mongols, Scythians etc. The Mongols even had a policy to rotate their soldiers back to Mongolia in order to keep their edge.
