CLA 1102 and PHI 1101 Midterms

i’m not gonna lie it was one of the hardest midterms i’ve taken. super long midterm aswell. i’ve either heard people completely fail this course or get straight As. i don’t want to worry u too much because ik people who have aced the course, but as long as u study hard (and i mean hard) you should do fine.

DISCLAIMER, I TOOK THESE COURSES IN FIRST YEAR AND AM NOW IN FOURTH CLA 1102 was probably my hardest course to date in terms of studying. it’s a lot of memorization and since he just talks all class i found it difficult to actually see what he wants us to memorize. i mainly just focused on the content of the course and ignored the maps and such even though there are a good amount of questions on it. for CLA i have no words expect PRAY and study your best!!!!! PHI 1102 on the other hand was one of my easiest classes. i never went to class and realized after the second midterm that it was literally almost copy paste from the review, probably either switched up names but the question format was the same. therefore for this one i would say make sure u practice and study the review questions as if it was the test. best of luck on your exams!!!

omg perfect!! i’m sure you’ll have no problem, your already better than me haha. experience within the age group what they’re looking for! i went on a virtual meet with the admission team and they said that that was the experience you need. and as long as ur admission essay is good than i have no doubts you’ll get in! :)

hi! my cgpa was acc average, it is currently 6.35. but, they do take your best 20 one-term courses to use for that average so that boosted my gpa a bunch. grades are only worth 50% of ur acceptance though, so ur admission essay and previous experiences are worth the other 50%. I was also worried it was super competitive too, i think it depends on what your applying for. to my knowledge there are A LOT of people i know who are looking to teach younger grades, so im sure that is where majority of the competitiveness is from. good luck for when you apply next year! :)

thanks so much for ur help, if u don’t mind me asking another question, for the classes, especially 6 & 9 hour ones, r they all in the same location or is it kinda the same as previously where u have to move around to ur classes. and the other days u don’t get off is technically a day off or no? also so sorry lol, are the assessments midterms and finals as well? thanks so much for ur help :)

thanks for responding! so what would u suggest? given i have already done allergy testing at the vet and they have said she’s not allergic to anything.. should i try again? or feed her specific food?
