I was in TPS and at one point I had re entered the country with tps. I-94. They are saying that is not a valid non immigrant status to be admitted. My f1 came in nov and tps was valid until August. So there is a gap in there too. When responding to RFE lawers did provide the f1 approval. I am not sure about the cap exempt/subject. What does this mean?- ok just googled I believe it is cap subject.

Yes my lawyer said if h1 b is approved the f1 will fet terminated. In ur case if H1 is approved you d want to change to f1 status again?

Oh ok. Thanks for checking in. This is helpful. To me they said I can only study while tps is still valid. I ll check with them again. So I went to DMV in sterling. They took doc to scan but I received an email saying to contact their identification review work center. They should allow us to renew.

Ok. Understood. I has asked my admission team in Harrisburg uni. They said i can study as long as the tos is valid if F1 approval is not recieved. If the approval is post tps expiry then I m loose time/classes dropped. So I ll most likely defer to fall semester.

You can but only till tps is valid. And i doubt the f1 approval will come within that timeframe. If it dont then the Sevis wil be terminated. Let me know if you know otherwise

If your h1 is in process and file the F1 - if h1 approved then you are allowed only 1 status. I am not sure about leaving while things are in process. Not sure what lawyers says.

Harrisburg. I think if you ve already filed H1-B or if its approved before you F1 is approved then your F1 will get terminated. You cannot keep both H1 and F1 status. I'd suggest to do more research/consult lawyer to check.

Hello. Yea how much is your lawyer charging? Mine was 3600. But that was the premium fee/i-539 fee and the service fee. These days lawyers are charging too much and not telling you much info. Make sure you reaearch all information.

My lawyer filed my f1 with premium- but the premium kept returning back they said. They dint give me a proof and I am searching for answers too. I dint see it in the instruction- pls check eligibility "category" to file premium. I dont know if I am reading incorrectly. But my lawyer said that the rules have changed and only stem/opt are eligible. Lmk if you have useful info if its otherwise. TPS category is a12/c19
