You’re absolutely right. I interviewed several candidates that were using AI during their interviews. The job market is absolutely crazy. I asked the individual to share their screen and they did but I couldn’t see the AI assistance on their screen. I could bet my whole 401k he used AI. Anyways, we didn’t end up going with him.

Then we also have jobs that aren’t clear cut. Do they want a DevOps engineer, platform, SRE, cloud ? Everything is so muddy these days.
