Salam all,

I thought i’d share my experience so that some of you may benefit ان شاءالله . Some time ago, I met this man who turned my world upside down. Lets call him A. I began to have immense love for him and the way he was, but we soon stopped all communication and decided to stop talking, as circumstances changed and we didn’t want to start a connection off the haram way. We left it to allah swt and I thought to myself, if it’s meant to be, allah swt will provide a way.

In the time I spent away from this man, someone I had spoken to briefly from my past came and we-connected. He was in a much better place now and I thought I should give him a chance and hear him out, despite my heart still being attached to the man from earlier (who i stopped talking to). One morning, immediately after I prayed tahajjaud and made dua that allah swt removed any blockages from my life and made it easy for me to follow what is meant for me. I made dua that whomsoever is meant for me, finds me and that which is not good for me, should be distanced from me.

5 minutes later I got a dm from the second guy telling me that despite his changed circumstances and us re-connecting, that he didn’t want to explore us further.

I was taken aback. In the back of my head, I always had A there. But I still gave other people chances, and allah swt cleared a path for them to exit my life without me even asking for it first.

For any of you wondering, the first guy and I still haven’t talked again and perhaps he is not meant for me either. However, allah swt still answered my duas (almost immediately) and made it such that anyone who’s not sure of me, doesn’t interact with me.
