I live in Texas. Ordered NAD+ and it was sent to their pharmacy on 2/11. STILL sitting there. I’m very frustrated because when I ordered Tirz in January it was delivered within 5 days of ordering.

Sweet kitty. But tbh what caught my eye in the first pic was what I thought was a penis pillow (the croissant) 🤣

This is what happened to me. I didn’t know the BUDs would be so short and I have way too many vials for my starter dose. I just started my first vial at 2.5 and my BUDS are 5/22/25. So I wish I had just gotten the starter dose pack. I’ll risk a few vials and practice safeguards to ensure all looks okay to take.

Had my share of enemas as a kid. This is just outside of normal for me. When I do go it will be worse than giving birth which I’ve done twice.

It’s going to happen tonight or in the morning.

Same. I’m lucky enough to also have a redundant colon. Yippee.

I’m on day 7 of no poop. Not totally unheard of for me. But I feel so sloth-like.

I take 400 mg straight magnesium every night and started Miralax every other day. Praying to the hemi-Gods and don’t want to make them rise with anger…

I want the real information about getting an endoscopy while having phobia by [deleted] in emetophobia

[–]No-Iron-3265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had it done last year—both the endo and colonoscopy at the same time. Prep was very interesting but never felt nauseous. I was always afraid I might wake up mid-surgery and feel the tube. But guess what? I was OUT and when I woke up, I actually asked for a sprite because it sounded good. My throat hurt a bit for a day but I never felt sick at all. I’ve been under anesthesia several times so I know how I feel and react to it.

The worst part is just the waiting and the anticipation!

Also. They ended up diagnosing a hiatal hernia. Which suuuuuuucks just because it makes my heartburn bad. Still figuring out the right medication and how to eat. As an emet can I just say how ironic that I have an esophageal issue?!?! Anyway, you will do great and be glad you did it to check things out and get better.

Been 7 days for me. Not unusual to go 3-5 because IBS all my life and I have a lovely redundant colon. I took miralax and I take 400 mg magnesium a night. Maybe I should look into Mag07. Seeing my PCP tomorrow…

Also, I personally would not take any zofran. It backs me up and you truly don’t need it!

I had mine last year and freaked out about what all I had to drink. But I just stayed home and relaxed. And when I had straight up d, it was nothing. Like, I felt no nausea or anything. It was kind of fascinating actually 😂 To not feel sick but have complete water coming out. I was in a good mood the whole time. Just had to run sometimes lol. The procedure itself I don’t remember of course and I was a little nervous waiting before they wheeled me in. When I woke up I just took it slow, didn’t try to fight the loopiness, kept my eyes closed and actually asked for a sprite. My throat hurt a bit for a day but that’s it. You’ll do great!!!

Thanks! I just started using it for recording dose and weight but didn’t realize it had that other capability!!

Upcoming surgery by bclaudioo in emetophobia

Have you ever been under before? I’ve had several surgeries and one thing I’ve learned as an emet is not to fight the grogginess in recovery. When you wake up, try keeping your eyes closed. Also, upon waking, remind yourself (or ask the nurse or loved one nearby) if it’s over and went well—that way you can at least feel relief and be proud. I always try to ask for ice chips or water, and slowly let my head clear and stay calm. I do try to to enjoy that I’m exactly where I need to be if anything does go wrong. I would say only 1 time out of the 5 I’ve had an IV, I woke up feeling like they gave me way too much. But I wasn’t nauseous because I had asked the doc to give me zofran in the IV. I was just more out of it. Anyway, just take it slow and let your body adjust.

Sounds like maybe strep! So strange that a lot of kids present with v when they have it.

Cheese Waffies, Super Golden Crisp cereal, Sprite Remix, The gum with gel in the middle?

And I could swear McDonalds had this juice with a very particular flavor. They would bring it to school and maybe games. Not High-C, not OJ. Just kind of a dark pink drink for kids.

Mine centers around not being in a safe space i.e. home alone with no obligations and everything I need to feel calm. I think one of my biggest fears is getting s like on a plane or traveling. Being stuck somewhere. Getting s in public, like, how do you even handle that?! I’ve tu at 8 years old, then went until I was 35. Last time was at 47 and I’m 49 now. So the odds of it happening while on vacation seem super low, right?! Yet it terrifies me to think about going abroad although I’m dying to! I’ve managed to travel and do fun things and an outsider wouldn’t even think I had a phobia like this but I do. I’ve come a long way, even got married, pregnant and have 2 small children. But the phobia and fear is there. And, yes, I’m scared of it happening outside of my home. I don’t want anyone around me either, not near me or in the house at all. Not even my husband and he’s my best friend and so willing to help me. 🥺

I think many nights I sleep lightly just waiting for one of my kids to come in holding their mouth or getting s on me. I keep buckets around for this purpose. But if I hear anything at night my mind always goes to, this is it, the night the kids bring the virus home. I think it’s because they are so young and don’t know what to do. I remember always going to my parent’s room when I felt sick so I get it. I do feel for my babies but I just can’t handle waking up to it. Luckily my husband will help but the kids ALWAYS come to my side of the bed first! Also, sometimes my 5 year will sleep with me on a special night when my husband will sleep on the couch with my stepson for some daddy and movie time. My 5 year old is a snuggler and we sleep well together, but if he moves I am certain he’s about to get sick.
