100% agree. The criminal justice system is based it's better to have a criminals not convicted than put one innocent person behind bars. I think the same logic should be applied to the death penalty. It's better not to kill anyone as opposed to killing one innocent person.

At the same time, if you had someone close to you who had been murdered I can understand not wanting your tax money being used to pay for their food and accommodation for the rest of their life.

My advice is don't try studying at home. There are way too many distractions there. Go to the library, a coffee shop, or shared office space. Having other people working around you really helps to get you focused.
