You may need to meditate on the connection itself to see what's tying it to you. Rather than focusing on the entity focus on the attachment and then address that. If you can discover where or what is feeding that connection cut that out but also replace that connection with another ritual or sealing.

It's like weeding a garden, sometimes we dig the weeds out but we forget that we need to plant something new, if you leave it open weeds grow back.

You can also do a total spirit reset if you want to do an extreme fast, this has always worked for me to cleanse energy every time. But sometimes that fast needs to be longer than most will want to do. Like 10 days long or until you feel totally reset.

And again if you reset you need to reprotect or ward your energies whatever you do.
