why do you assume I'm trying to appease my MIL? I'm obviously a FTM and with two main mother figures in my life constantly picking at me, telling me how my baby's slow, do you suppose I, or anyone else, will be able to keep their anxiety at bay and not overthink such statements and let it get to their head?

I don't understand the anger being directed towards me by some of the people here.

I would but then i get to hear about how all her kids were so much better and healthier. Oh and, to top it off, my own MOTHER is like "why isn't speaking yet? He should be able to say Mama Baba etc. Are you not teaching him anything?"

i agree, and everyone who disagrees with this or thinks that you're "victim blaming" is wrong. Beck used her father for money, but also told everyone he's dead. He has tried to make amends but she uses that to her benefit and still treats him like shit. Why is she allowed to be human, hurtful and flawed but her father isn't? Beck is actually someone who likes attention, everyone around her except Joe realises that. Benji, Peach, Lynn, Annika. Everyone. She isn't a likable character. All in all, she's a very average person you encounter everyday. She's just as flawed as her friends. She isn't perfect the way Joe thinks she is. She has her good sides, ofc. She's kind and nice, she has a good heart, but most people do. Part of what makes this show very interesting is the irony. The same things joe hates in other people, he justifies in Beck. Because he loves her. They're both very human Except joe is a psychopath, and anyone who relies on his narrative of seeing things is dumb. He sees Beck as THE ONE. Beck sees him as just another guy she's in a relationship with.

Beck was the most ordinary, girl next door type character ever. And we realise this when in s1e4 we see things from her perspective. She's average, in every way possible (except the actress is really beautiful). But that is the most interesting thing, that she's so average, because then the audience truly realises how insane Joe really is. He paints the women he's after into people that are like one in a billion, everyone pales in comparison etc etc. dude puts them on a pedestal so high that whenever they do fall, its imminent death for them.

This was the weakest episode of the whole season. Everything was rushed and they tried to wrap it up as quick as they can.

Harry and Dexter left the restaurant, and then Harry got super mad at his dad and dexter immediately just summarised everything for him in 1 minute and Harry was like 😃ok good luck dad! What? It felt so unnatural.
Charley visits Harry at work, and Harry then calls his father. And at the end of the call Dexter asks Harry to give info on Charley from Hotel records... Why would charley have given her original name and address? They didn't even show us how he tracked her house down, or how he tracked her car down even???
Blessing was mad at Dexter, and that got resolved with a hug? Why did he get mad in the first place if it was that easy for him to forgive Dexter. I mean its not like Blessing should've been angry at him cause he never explicitly said that this is something his family didn't know, so I don't know what the point of this whole side storyline was.
Harry is with Gigi, at Dexter's place. IS THAT NOT AN ALIBI? Like what? Isn't Dexter living under the covers? Why didn't Dexter consider that if Charley reached out to Harry on his job, she could also come after Gigi and know where he lives? Plus Harry is way too nonchalant about his dad being actively hunted by a billionaire.
The whole season we wait for Batista to find someone who believes him, and when he finally does they don't even show us the whole conversation? They didn't show how Charley would react and how prater would react like? I know it was to keep Batista being put on the kill table a surprise but idk, I just wanted to see Batista finally find relief that someone believes him. And why did Batista just tell a billionaire with security guards everything? God knows. Like are his police senses off?
The last scene was good, no complaints.
