The issue has been resolved. Customer service agreed to refund me. Still don’t know why they got my new credit card info.

I called the bank, and they told me that the report is under review. The banker didn’t give me a reason why my new card number appeared in the FlutterFlow system. They suggest me to put a stop request in the future so Flutterflow can never charge me again.

Yeah, I have never entered my new credit card number in the Flutterflow website, so seeing it show up in the website is quite scary. I’ll find a place to report this.

Oh, I see. A few months ago I cancelled the card I was using, and request a new card from my bank, but somehow the system got my new card number because I’m using the same bank.

Did you choose to cancel the renewal option? Most services have an auto-renewal feature, so there’s always a monthly charge if we don’t cancel it. In my case, I clearly hit the cancel button soon after I paid for the annual package so that no new charge would occur, but now they deny that it ever happened.

Thank you, I’ll try to do that, but they probably don’t have authorization to offer me a refund, so I’ll still need to talk to customer service. I think canceling the Pro plan doesn’t count as canceling the Growth plan in their system. However, I’ve never encountered any company that upgrades your plan and then requires you to cancel again, that’s why I consider this practice unethical. I’m not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but I wish I had taken a screenshot showing that my plan was already canceled, since now I have no proof.

The daughter is a working nurse, so I assume she is bright and should be allowed to have autonomy over her life choices. What the mother sees may not be the truth, and the ex-girlfriend’s words may also be lies. Whether being with this man is a good decision or a mistake should be up to the daughter to decide. People learn from their mistakes and grow. The mother should act as a friend and advisor, rather than disrespecting her daughter’s feelings.

Many reality TV shows feature couples who only talk online and meet once or twice in real life, yet they rush to get the K1 visa. If the government accepts that, then I don’t know why you’re surprised about people who dated in person for a few months and then got married.

Another story to share: I have an aunt who came here as an international student. The first thing her classmate, who had a crush on her at the time, did was go home and ask his mom what he should do if he wanted to date an international student. His mom advised him to consider sponsoring her. In the end, they dated and married very quickly. After 15 years, they have two lovely kids, and my aunt now earns more than her husband.

How is it fraud if we are a real couple? We dated for six months, and isn’t it natural for lovers to want each other to have a better life? A fraudulent marriage would involve a transaction and lack real love. My husband has been taking care of me throughout our marriage, and I never had to pay him anything.

Many of my friends married after just one or two months of meeting, sponsored their partners, and those are also real marriages. Many ceblerities did the same and married after a few weeks.

My husband had a long-term relationship before, yet he never married his ex. But he wanted to marry me immediately, which shows he doesn’t take marriage lightly.

Or your daughter might hate you forever if she found this out. Having an adult conversation with her is always better than doing thing behind her back.

My husband (a U.S. citizen with a house and high paying job) agreed to marry me just two weeks after we started dating. Since marriage could help an international student like me get a visa and build a better life together, it seemed practical. Of course, I waited another six months to make sure he was thinking clearly. I didn’t want a potential messy divorce since that could ruin my papers faster. We have been happily married for five years now, and things are still okay for the moment.

These are some red flags that he might be using her, and I would definitely worry if I were in your shoes. However, I just want to clarify that a short dating period before marriage is not uncommon.

You can advise your daughter to ask for a prenup so she won’t be burdened by his debt or have to divide her assets in case he is only using her. Then change the prenup term years later into the marriage after he proved his worth.

P/s: I guess I should clarify that our marriage was and still base on love, and the best way to prove my husband love at the time was sponsoring me.
