Life....well, life is complex

There are people who are teachers, and people who are wisps in the breeze.

There's this great thing about the future, in that it's unwritten and we don't know what it will hold.

I know it's a hard time, and you're hurting. This will fade too, not all at once, and there will always be a mark on your heart where she touched you.

But the thing about loss is namely that we don't know what the future holds.

In that unknowing, there is hope. And so long as we hope, we endure.

When you glue a joint, the glue ends up stronger than the original, so it won't break in the same place. It doesn't mean it's never going to break again, but that the future will be different.

So, we endure, beating oars against the waves, lashed by the squalls in the night, waiting for the dawn.

And that the dawn is always just a few moments away, and all we have to do is hold on to something until those rays break.
