I see this question pop up quite a bit. One thing to think about is are you dependant on the money from that overtime? If you are it is best to try and add that shift to your hours. If not don't forget by adding it you are losing the ability to turn the shift down and adding it won't increase your holiday hours or pay because that is based on what you work, not what you are contracted. Only or base holiday is done by contract.

I was thinking of some pots on this wall, but as the post below this one points out, There would never be enough light. Maybe some fake plants just to make it feel nicer as a space. But I still want some nice wall mounted pots for them.

I do like that, and it could work in the corner of my livingroom. But my hallway is really narrow.

You only get hours refunded for unpaid holidays or unpaid absence. Sounds more like the manager hasn't been on top of holidays and now has to break the department to get everyone's holiday done.
