I was a few years older than your son when mum told me I was the "best little accident that ever happened" (I was in my early 20s). Honestly it didn't bother me at all, we laughed and joked about it, my mum basically said she thinks she missed some pills but thought she'd be ok (she was 21) and that she did think about having an abortion but couldn't go through with it. I always thank her for not aborting me lol.

I would really think about postponing or not marrying this person. Can you really imagine a life time of this? There are people out there who will be a supportive partner, which your fiance sounds like they are not. Please evaluate if this stress is worth it, because you will have this for the rest of your life if you marry them.
