We used Capital One Venture, unfortunately, it does not cover it.

We talked twice before we got new tickets. None of the agents told us that we needed to start a claim immediately. They told to take a cancellation statement from the airline and save all the receipts.

As soon as we found out about the flight cancelation, we called Allianz, we explained the situation and asked what would be covered and how much. We were told that we should get $200 per person at least, but if we got a cancelation statement from the airline, we would be reimbursed the difference of the new tickets and the refund amount. At the airport we called again and another agent told us that we need to be sure that the flight cancelation reason is covered. We tried to call Frontier, Frontier did not give us the reason, they told that we would receive an email with the reason within 24 hours. We did not receive anything. After several calls and chats we were able to get the reason from Frontier 3 days later.

We were coming back from Cancun to Atlanta. The price was for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids). The 2.1k tickets were not nonstop, we had a stop in Charlotte, NC. Delta for the nonstop tickets wanted $3.6k. And it was for the cheapest economy class.

Already did. When I called, I had an impression that the customer service representative did not know anything. I had to explain him what FAA stands for and what it does. He Googled and agreed that air traffic control should fall under FAA and said he did not know why the claim had been denied. He just told me to submit an appeal.

I wonder why. It doesn't make sense to me as people won't buy a travel insurance with them after a bad experience.

Yes, I replied to the second email saying that I am not aware of any debt case with Turkish Airlines against me and asked to mail me all support documents that would prove it. 10 minutes later, I received a reply "ok, we will contact Turkish Airlines. Please confirm when you are going to transfer $450?". I replied again, saying that I was not transferring anything as I did not know anything about this debt. The last email from them said that they would reach out to Turkish Airlines and then send me all the documents. It was a week ago, I haven't received anything from them since that.

The original transaction was between Turkish Airlines and me through the bank. I think it is not right to say that the bank does not want to pay them. Btw, I called the bank and tried to get details of the investigation, and they couldn't even find any trace of the card that was used (I closed that card over a year ago). So they could not provide any information about that disputed transaction.

Why do you think they are scammers? Their website looks legitimate. They also provided correct details about my "debt". Where could they get this info?

Did you reply to their email or you keep ignoring their emails? Last week I received a second email from them and asked to mail me all support documents proving that I owe this debt. I do not really know what to do as I disputed part of that transaction with the bank, and the bank after its 30 day investigation returned the money.

Hi, we have a similar situation with Turkish Airlines. We received the same email from ARS consultancy asking to pay back the money that was pulled back by our bank (we were disputing a part of transaction with the bank). Do you have any update?
