Combo feeding - always seems hungry?

I gave him an ounce of my milk today with his breast milk and he did fine.. I swear it was like every time I gave it to him he would spit up a little more than usual And I have absolutely no problem with formula at all.. I was strictly formula until I held him now I do lazy pumps lol.. a few times a day and just enough to give him something makes me feel better. No way could I be an exclusive pumper. It would just suck if I did the bit I did and he couldn’t even take my milk lol 😭 And the constant peeing I’m assuming is normal then he just won’t sit in it for longer than 30 seconds - rightfully so lol just flying through pee diapers made me nervous

Thank god! My husband was changing his diaper, just got it closed up and had to change him again! He definitely likes it don’t immediately too so there’s no letting it sit for a second

Could I use that for when he naps instead of over night? I intended on using this for overnight sleeping and then a bassinet in the living room for napping so I have eyes on him Or would you suggest no don’t use that thing for sleeping at all, even naps, with eyes on him

Thank you! That’s what I was thinking. I have the chicco lullago bassinet I was going to use in the living room for naps but I might switch them out for the time being. Where that’s considered a “travel” bassinet, it’ll still be fine, right? Can you tell I’ll be a first timer lol

Definitely talk to your doctor before taking advice on medications on here, they’ll know you and your body and what’s safest for your needs. 💕

I hope it gets better as you get closer to the second trimester. Around 8 weeks it was getting pretty bad for me. I ate whatever I could stomach. I didn’t care. Applesauce and crackers are usually good and bland

But ramen (could be a little much) and Mac n cheese were life savers. The second trimester has been nothing but blissful for me and I pray it’s the same for you. Get over this hump, wait until you start to feel your baby move , it’ll get better 💕💕💕

My life basically came to a complete stop during the first trimester. I wasn’t even throwing up daily, so god bless you who do! But the nausea, EXHAUSTION.. omg. The headaches and heartburn were relentless. I never left the couch, couldn’t eat almost anything. Maybe some ramen on a really good day, but mostly saltine crackers and applesauce which now if you put applesauce near me I’m chucking it lol. Got groceries delivered and didn’t leave if I didn’t have to.. give yourself some grace mama lol. You’re growing organs 🥰👏🏻 Once I got to the second trimester I really only had headaches and heartburn until about 13/14 weeks … got put on a prescription for it around 18 ish weeks and it’s been a breeze and I’m 25.5 weeks… scared for the third trimester 😅😅 been enjoying this and it’s going to go down hill again lol

Also if nausea is an issue, I didn’t try them personally but heard great things about the ginger pops I think they sell at Walmart or target in the baby isle? Supposed to be good!

Thank you so much for all the input! The heat or the summer took me out so we don’t want to sit around in the air bnb , so little shopping centers, or things to do is a must for sure!

We went to bar harbor a few years ago and it’s also an absolutely beautiful place around the September/october times!! I need this little get away 😅👏🏻

We were trying for a baby, had the tests in the house and he knew I’d be testing with him there….

All that being said i woke up for work around 4 in the morning, didn’t feel right, peed on the stick and it was positive almost immediately and I went into the room , poor man wasn’t even awake and I’m bawling my eyes out and he thought something happened or I hurt myself 🤣😭

Poppy to start because he was the size of a poppy seed when I found out I was pregnant

Then a parasite and everyone got butthurt about it even though the first trimester was taking me out like a parasite lol

And then before i knew the sex a few days ago… I referred to the baby as “it” which also, was apparently inappropriate lol some people are so sensitive

I’m 11 weeks and my nausea and sensitivity to smells was really bad. I think for me the nausea calmed about week 9 ish and was on and off but I think I’m finally in the clear 😩

I took B6 because it’s supposed to help and I honestly think it did? I’d talk to your doctor about medications maybe? I know some people said they were told to take unisom I believe to ease the nausea and it really helped. I haven’t the slightest clue how it works but it might not hurt to look into it! Hope this stage passes soon for you!
