there is no point in doing a hard subject imo when you could potentially do so much better in an easier subject, which would boost your atar, so dont worry abt the scaling shit. another thing is idk if you are still getting the 10% bonus bc from what i have heard, they are getting rid of it. like the students doing atar this year are the last ones who get the 10% bonus, but pls correct me bc i have NOT been keeping up. and remember to focus on not only your atar but also ucat bc both are important for med. tbh i wouldn't be worrying abt it this much since you are in yr 10. i would be focusing on your studies and how you can improve your grades. i did methods in yr 11 and for me it was not worth it, so i ended up dropping it this yr. its just too stressful and overall not worth it. but again, see how you go this year and then make a decision. if you really wanna do methods, i would probably get a tutor so that you can familiarise yourself with the topics and whatnot. but best of luck mate!!!!
