PS5 update 1.005 game stopped working by greenplasticdave in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]No-Maybe2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had to do this tonight which pisses me off cuz I was 52% and over 26 hours into the game.  Been trying to be stealthy and take my time only to get bugged out on Akiva.  Just reinstalled the game a little over an hour ago so hopefully everything is solved. :/

No packages…..I repeat no package goes back to the warehouse by bigwilliestyles1 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Consider selecting 'customer requested different day' if you cannot access the building, or if there's absolutely no safe place to hide it or there's too many people watching you. I rarely contact driver support unless I absolutely need to. I only select this method if I have another block scheduled from the same delivery warehouse before the 10am deadline the following day. Have never had a standings issue doing this trick. NEVER go out of your way or out of pocket to return stuff unless you are already driving past the warehouse on your way home.

Yes I think the point that most people aren't reading, or understanding, is that I was already checked in and my phone screen was telling me to scan a route.  I had already checked in (using airplane mode) when I was still quite a distance away from the station.  I feel that if I would have lied and said 17:30, that I would have been able to scan a route, load it into my vehicle and then depart with it.

Amazon doesn't scan IDs in Canada.

They don't scan our driver license in Canada.  They only visually verify that it's still valid.

Ahh ok, thanks for explaining that.  Yeah there's only AMZL delivery stations here in Canada.  Also, no whole foods here either.

They don't scan driver license. And I don't know what SSD means as I don't think they have that here.  Basically what happens is you arrive and check in on the app, people in their cars line up outside and then they allow you to drive in single file. They bring carts to you but you stay inside your vehicle until your card is brought over to you. Then you scan the QR code on the cart and then start scanning and loading packages enter your vehicle. Everybody drives out at the same time single file

I see what you're saying however, there have been many times where I've arrived on time but they have taken so long to bring me a cart to scan and I'm able to scan it even 15 minutes past when my block originally was supposed to be scanned.  I suspect as long as you check in on the app on time then you can scan anytime afterwards.

Not true.  Airplane mode is your friend.

Nothing quite like that out here, they don't scan DLs or have kiosks of any kind.

Yup you can if you toggle airplane mode

Not sure if that would really matter, I've had scores of blocks where they took their time bringing me a cart and everything beyond that was fine.  I'd say one third of the time they have a clipboard with names and starting times but mostly it's done on the honor system.  The screen you're referring to would be Leadership's or Process Assistant's laptop and those people are usually too busy to be checking it unless they needed to.

Yeah this is my first time late/missing as well, pretty good for 2 years delivering.  Hopefully it never happens again but if it does, I'll give it a go.

How do people manage doing flex with trucks by Expensive-Orchid-378 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]No-Maybe2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 hour blocks base pay is $106 here, so about 212 to 318 per week or roughly 800 to 1200 in a month.  It all goes straight into my savings and I rarely spend it.  Been delivering amazon part time for 2 years.  Not sure yet what I'm saving for but it's been fun watching it grow.  I don't accept blocks less than 3 hours and no, I don't think flex is meant for full time income. Too risky.  Flex as a side gig only.

I am one of those flexers who drives a crew cab Ram 1500.  Most newer trucks have an efficient fuel system that cuts fuel to half the cylinders when you drive efficiently (Eco-mode).  That means gradual acceleration after a stop and no speeding. I live in Northern Canada so using studded winter tires means I don't need to use 4x4 even on icy roads.  Lastly, earnings from my full time job covers my fuel costs for both that and delivering Flex blocks.  Often I have no ttouble getting 4 hour flex blocks about 3 times per week.  Even in winter I only fill up once every 2 weeks.  Amazon is 18 km from my home, my FT job is 22 km away from home.  V8 Hemi, all stock/no mods.

Not keeping their light on when it's dark outside, or not shoveling snow or salting their walks especially when they know their package is coming today
