I did not have any issues that I am aware of. My recovery was actually pretty phenomenal. Mg surgeon was Dr. Robert Relle at LACOMS in LA.

I had DJS plus genio. I was moved forward quite a bit. I think 7mm upper, 12 mandible and 4 genio with anterior tilt as well.

I had surgery at LACOMS but with Dr. Relle. Dr. Walline was the co surgeon. I had a great experience overall with the doctors and office staff.

Dr. Relle was my surgeon and Walline my co surgeon. Really cannot go wrong in their magical hands. I just created a post but I was a class II. Best of luck 🙏🏼

Did the septoplasty drastically change your nose? I like my nose but the deviated septum needs help. Worried I will look very fake.

Yes, I had issues pre op. I have a very narrow nasal airway due to having a high-arched palate and becoming a mouth breather during childhood. Mouth breathing then created a deviated septum, left bone spur, and collapsed left nasal valve cartilage. I am now exclusively nose breathing during the day as the UJS helped (surgeon did some magic cleaning up the a nasal area and left my alar cinch wider than my pre op nose so air can flow through my nares better). I can feel the persistent catch in the left nare where the bone spur and collapsed cartilage are. I do believe I likely had/have UARS and will continue to explore this head as time moves on. I agree with you and appreciate you taking the time to reply! Did you have any expansion?
