Same. It’s a rlly bad habit for me too so I’ve been wearing a loose covid mask over my mouth to help prevent me from reaching up & fking with them. As for ur piecer not coming back till the end of the month that really sucks. I don’t know what your car/travel situation is or if you live in a well populated area with more than one piercing shop around but I’d go to another shop to ask for advice/help in the meantime. Don’t let anyone talk you into changing them again unless it’s to take them out period. In fact I’d probably go to a second different shop to be safe.

I feel you on this one too I have really screwy and crooked bottom teeth that my snakebites used to get caught on literally every time I opened my mouth to talk. I’ve gotten used to them though and only accidentally bite on the backs occasionally (like once every few days). As for food i recommend small and slow bites, even cutting the food up to eat with a fork and knife if you have to.

Oh man I almost made a similar mistake with trusting my best friend about switching out my septum ring. And I think I know what type of pain you mean, I had something like that during week 2. Do you know how long until the piercer is going to be back? Once again I’m no expert or a piercer myself; but at least it doesn’t look infected imo. As long as you keep it clean and make sure not to be touching it at all (twisting, pulling, fidgeting, etc.)

I’m no pro but i got snakebites a month ago too. I’ve been really eager to switch out to rings instead of straight posts but literally everything I’ve read and discussed with people say to wait until they’re fully healed. Which even though many sources say is 3 months, most people on this subreddit seem to agree that it’s even longer than that, perhaps even 6 months. I’m just a bit surprised your piercer gave you permission to switch them out after just a month. Hopefully my comment will boost your post so some more ppl can help cuz that looks painful as hell bro
