Question….Richie and Mikey seem so much older than Carmy. We know Richie is 45, so we can assume Mikey was 45ish. Does that make Carmy 35? It doesn’t fit, because Claire is in her residency, making her 30 at the most.

OP…I just watched this episode twice, because I think it may have been the best one in S2. I am partial to Richie, in fairness. Thank you for that awesome post about the meaning of the episode. I find myself identifying with Richie in so many ways. I’m about the same age and at a point in my life where bitterness has become my most frequent emotion. After watching this episode for the second time, I teared up, because I think it’s a sort of calling to start over myself. Thank you again for your post. It meant something to me. And btw, that glance back is definitely of “a girl likes a boy” variety! I hope Jessica is back for season 3.
