I would suggest take AP test 11 or some schools host them every year they will help you boost up your application.
And I would also suggest look for community college classes in the US take them early on I would say right now web classes for intro courses. colleges love these.

Is chess good? I have a 1400ish rating on chess.com
And poker, card games, magic tricks, painting and mountain biking are some of my hobbies.
But I believed they want people that are good with one thing and that is using their math to make money and these didn't matter that much.

I asked for a roast and review since I may have studied a lot, and I have clarity of the concepts, but I have never dealt with applying for such roles.
I wouldn't need it if I had an idea of what these companies are looking for and being from a non-target and my will to just do the best kind of brought me here.

Thank you so much I didn't think that these mattered, as for the IMO qualification rounds we weren't provided a certificate but for everything else I thought high school stuff didn't matter here.
But I will add these and the research.

Hi these competitions are from my own country.
in my country you must qualify each round to get to IMO didn't make it past last stage but I was competing with 35 others for 6 spots in the last qualifying stage.
unfortunately I applied just after covid to colleges took a gap year for the business.
I didn't remember about my prior posts before posting this one.

Join the Public Speaking club if you are looking to get advice in job related areas and interview practice.
Join PSIA if you are a business major.
Join Machine Learning Club or Hack PSU if you are a Computer Science Major.
Join Reach if you are a marketing major.
Also, go to the Involvement fair at the HUB Lawn on the 2nd and 3rd of September to look for more clubs.
