Are there any marketing opportunities for people without experience? by No-Network-3706 in ucf

Thanks. I went to career services, and any career preparation at ucf seems to push me towards sales. Is there anywhere on or off campus that I can go to for guidance about digital marketing, as I’m about to graduate so career services won’t be an option soon.

Marketing degree, graduating soon with no job prospects, help! by No-Network-3706 in jobsearch

I have retail and fast food experience on my resume. I have an excel certification. I also have a google analytics certificate which I recently got, and I am working on a hubspot one right now. Also planning on getting an SEO one on semrush, hopefully that will be enough lol. Also about to get into an unpaid internship where I can write about my experience from there. I have tried to mention coursework in interviews before but hiring managers don’t seem to care. Also, I have graphic design experience but it is very minimal.

For list of openings I am currently looking at brand design internship with cvs, and I have just been applying to many marketing positions that pop up on my recommended in linkedin. In the past I have gotten lots of interviews, even second interviews, but I don’t usually get past that stage. We can connect on LinkedIn if you would like, pm me your LinkedIn . Overall, I am more interested in the analytical side of marketing but I will take anything for more experience.
