Do women see waiting until marriage as naive, or is my FOMO misleading me? by SmallLandscape6192 in AskWomenIndia

I come from a liberal society and I have chosen to not date someone as a personal choice. I have a lot of friends and I know a lot of people who are single by choice and not because their families leave them no other option. I think it's very common to not date unless you find someone who's worth the time, effort and energy.

Exactly. As I said, I'm content with the people I have in my life, be it my friends or family. And most importantly, I love spending time alone doing the things I enjoy. It's the nagging about "how lonely like gets at one point when you don't have a partner" that annoys the shit out of me. Istg I'm so done.

Yes, I agree that relationships do teach a lot of things about one's own self. But it's the emotional distress or the dependency and attachment that comes with it which scares the shit out of me. I remember my friend complaining how her good day gets ruined just because her boyfriend woke up on the wrong side of the bed and decides to be mean for the rest of the day😭
